How do I submit a manuscript to JIBDK?
All manuscripts must be submitted through our online submission portal. Please read the Author Guidelines carefully before submitting. Do not email the manuscript directly — emailed submissions will not be processed.
How long does the peer review process take?
The initial editorial assessment takes approximately 29 days. Full double-blind peer review typically takes 90 days. Fast Track Review delivers a decision within 21 days. After acceptance, publication takes approximately 25 days.
What is the Article Processing Charge (APC)?
JIBDK charges an APC only upon acceptance — no charges apply during submission or review. Authors from low- and middle-income countries may apply for a full or partial waiver. Contact apc@jibdk.org for details.
Is JIBDK indexed in Scopus?
Yes, JIBDK has been indexed in Scopus and SCImago since 2024. We are also listed in UGC Care List, Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, and CrossRef (DOI). We are actively pursuing PubMed / MEDLINE indexing.
Can I check the status of my submitted manuscript?
Log in to the submission portal to check your manuscript's current status. If more than 30 days have passed without communication, email review@jibdk.org with your manuscript reference number in the subject line.
Does JIBDK accept manuscripts in languages other than English?
No. JIBDK only accepts manuscripts written in English. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscript professionally edited before submission.
How do I apply to become a reviewer or board member?
Email editor@jibdk.org with your CV, ORCID iD, areas of expertise, and a brief statement of interest. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
What should I do if I notice an error in a published article?
Please contact editor@jibdk.org with full details of the error and the article DOI. JIBDK handles corrections and errata in accordance with COPE guidelines.
